Infection Control

The Maidstone & Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust is committed to providing high quality medical care in a safe and clean environment.  Like most other hospitals in the UK we are fighting a number of bacterium while caring for those most vulnerable to infection on a daily basis.

At this Trust we have chosen to take a pro-active stance in fighting infection and have developed a number of initiatives to maintain a clean environment throughout the hospital.  These initiatives include adapting the way we clean our premises to implementing hand washing procedures for all staff and visitors.
